Gender Trouble by Judith Butler' s on Feminism, Gender and Language.

  Hey everyone, today, I am going to talk about Judith Butler's ideas on feminism and gender. She challenges the idea that all women are the same and says that we should not keep things too simple. She does not like the idea of having just one way to think about women in politics because it might support stereotypes.   In the "postfeminist" age, Butler sees an opportunity for feminists to change their thinking. She says identity can change and we should look closely at power structures. Butler wants feminists to understand that identity can be both flexible and important.   She talks about how people often see women as a single group, but she points out a difference between biological sex and cultural gender.
